At Cairns Kangarooms, we make it easy for you. Your weekly rent includes pretty much all of the major things that we think you’ll need to help make Cairns Kangarooms your home away from home. Still, we offer some extra other services just to make your Cairns share accommodation experience that little bit easier.
BBQ
We have a gas BBQ which is available for our residents to use. Ask one of the Kangarooms staff if you have any questions regarding it’s use or if you need help locating the BBQ box with all the utensils and equipment.
Leafy garden setting
Do you like to relax outside? We welcome you to relax and unwind in our leafy green garden setting – Cairns style!
Luggage storage
If you are going away for a trip or you’re leaving on a flight after your 10:00 AM check-out you are welcome to store your luggage in our store room for free. Please speak with one of the Kangarooms staff members to organise your luggage storage as there is some paperwork you will need to complete.
Please note that luggage can only be picked up/dropped off during office hours. Return of your luggage will only take place after providing photographic ID to a Cairns Kangarooms employee.
Leaving your luggage in the office is always at your own risk and Cairns Kangarooms cannot be held responsible for damage or missing items. Cairns Kangarooms can refuse items that are too valuable, too big, or have potentially dangerous content.
Due to Workplace Health and Safety regulations, Cairns Kangarooms cannot carry or assist with luggage that exceeds 20kg.
