Cairns Kangarooms Cancellation Policy

At Cairns Kangarooms, we keep it simple with a straightforward cancellation policy:

• At least 14 days before the Rooming Accommodation Agreement start date – The resident can cancel a booking/Rooming Accommodation Agreement for a full refund if a written letter of cancellation is sent to CK email address info@cairnskangarooms.com. The email must include the booking reference, student name and reason for cancelling.
• Less than 14 days before the Rooming Accommodation Agreement start date – The resident will be charged a cancellation fee (equal to one weeks rent). All other monies will be refunded.
• Failure to check in – If the resident does not contact CK by 5pm the following day then the booking will be cancelled and a cancellation fee (equal to two weeks rent) will be charged. All other monies will be refunded.
• Early termination of Rooming Accommodation Agreement by resident – The resident may terminate their Rooming Accommodation Agreement early by notifying CK Management 14 days in advance. The resident must notify CK in writing by sending an email to the CK email address info@cairnskangarooms.com. The resident must pay a cancellation fee equivalent to two weeks rent.
• Australian Student Visa – If the resident’s application is not successful and you provide evidence of this we will refund all monies.
